Clearly I wasn't paying much attention to popular music that year. I was in my Leonard Cohen phase then. I remember November Rain and Life is a Highway Fondly, as well as I'm Too Sexy and Friday I'm in Love. And Bohemian Rhapsody is good no matter what year, but for me it did take Wayne and Garth to make me aware of it. I never got the whole grunge thing at all.

If you'd like to play, consider yourself tagged! Then leave me a link in the comments so I can see if your musical memory is better than mine. :) (Feel free to use your own colours!)

I remember dancing to Life is a Highway in Halifax at Brandy's in, hmm, 1991? Does that sound like the right year?
There are some great songs there. I remember loving the Geneisis video for I Can't Dance.
Great trip down memory lane

Dear heavens... these are the top 100 from when you graduated high school?

I'm old.

I graduated in '92, but I think Life is a Highway was playing a lot for about a year. We only had one tape at our after-grad party and it was on it, so we heard it a lot that night! :)

Marianne - Yup, according to Google they're the top 100 of 1992. And no, you're not old!!

We like big butts/And we cannot lie/You other brothers can't deny/When a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face...

LOL - I won't finish!

I graduated in 1990, so this is college music for me. I can't remember to charge my cell phone or call my mother back, but somehow the words to "Baby Got Back" never elludes me. How sad is THAT?!?!

Jill - hey, me too! I can never remember to charge my phone or camera batteries. And at work I'm a disaster lately. But I sure do remember that song. :)
