I'm in the amazing New York City in the 20's and 30's, as seen through the eyes of a rather extraordinary teenage girl - Florence Wolfson. (The Red Leather Diary by Lily Koppel)
And in Cedar Cove, Washington with a bunch of a people with a bunch of problems that I bet will end happily or at least be okay in the end. (16 Lighthouse Road by Debbie Macomber)

Are you reading for the 1930s Mini Challenge? Even if you weren't, it's only one book, so you should.
I can't put down Murder on the Orient Express. I'm sure I read it years ago, but I can't remember. Christie is just perfect, not a single extra word.
I've never read a Macomber book, but they look so comfy.
I hadn't seen that one, no. I'll have to check it out. I had the same reaction to And Then There Were None last year - perfection!
So far the Macomber is comfy but too filled with problems - I'd like at least one person in the town to not have a huge crisis!
