I'm surprised to see someone mention Trixie Belden. I think I read all of them when I was a kid! It was my "Nancy Drew."
Also, my sister-in-law found another book by Julie Campbell and gave it to me last Christmas. It's titled, Ginny Gordon and the Lending Library. I hadn't previously seen any other books by Julie Campbell, so this was a nice little surprise. I think I would have liked it when I was a kid.
I have to join this one too!! Big Trixie fan myself. I even mentioned it in my Weekly Geek's post a few weeks ago.
What fun choices!!
Terri - Y'know, Trixie seems to be really popular! They've reprinted a lot of the books and (as Stephanie mentions) a lot of people recently mentioned her in the Weekly Geeks posting about childhood faves. I don't know how I missed her! So now I want to catch up. :)
Stephanie - I think it's going to be a fun challenge, so I hope you'll join, too - we seem to be challenge-mates at lot! And I remember you'd mentioned Trixie - I was surprised by her huge following of Geeks! :)
Thanks for signing up for the challenge! You've been added to the participants list, sorry it took so long.
